Are you ready to sweat and feel the burn? Academy of Self Defense is pleased to announce our newest WOD, Break-Up to Make Up. This WOD he split into two parts, each designed to help you push your limits and reach your fitness goals.
Part A “The Break-Up” is an EMOM AMRAP that tests your strength and endurance. Every minute, do a set number of squat cleans and burpees, increasing the reps each round until you can no longer do them. Choose from a variety of ISO holds, including push-up holds and ultimate pikes. Outlast your teammates and see how far you can go!
Part B, Make Up, is a series of partner exercises that challenge coordination and teamwork. Followed by his AMRAP in the Nordic Hammie Curl. Then move on to 30 3-way partner leg throws, wheelbarrow exercises, and band rotations using the stability press. Finish off with bag work like jab cross resets, 2-3-2 resets, and 7-9 resets. You can feel a sense of accomplishment and strength during this part of your workout.
