The 4 Card Stud WOD is a creative twist on a traditional workout. Instead of following a predetermined routine, each participant draws cards from a deck to determine their exercise and repetition plan. It’s like taking on fitness challenges and embracing the wow factor.
The card suit determines the number of repetitions for each exercise. Clubs represent 5, hearts 10, spades 15, and diamonds 20. Card numbers correspond to specific exercises, making each round of WOD unique and unpredictable.
For example, subtracting 2 of hearts means doing 10 push-ups. If you draw a 6 of clubs, be ready for 5 rounds of climbers. Various exercises include push-ups, kettlebell swings, wall balls, sumo deadlift high pulls, mountain climbers, snatches, burpees, overhead squats, cleans, thrusters, lunges, box jumps, and even ace run blocks.
