The 3-2-1 drill is a timed, round-based workout that will keep you on your toes from start to finish. A unique combination of kettlebell exercises to test your coordination, power and overall fitness.
Each timed round works with one kettlebell either left hand, right hand, or double kettlebell. A round consists of 3 swings, 2 cleans and 1 snatch. This sequence targets the posterior strands and builds strength in the hips, glutes and hamstrings. Feel the explosive power coming from your core and legs as you swing the kettlebell. The clean and snatch require precision and control as you lift the kettlebell to your shoulders and overhead, respectively.
But that’s not all! The next round will focus on lower body and upper body strength. Perform 3 squats, 2 push presses, and 1 thruster using the same single or double kettlebell. Squats work your quads, hamstrings, and glutes, while push presses and thrusters work your shoulders, triceps, and core. Feel the burn as you power through each rep and challenge yourself to maintain proper form and technique.
