Effective November 23, 2022, Twitter will no longer be enforcing its COVID-19 misleading information policy.
This may be because Twitter’s new CEO, Elon Musk, doesn’t believe it’s important to combat COVID-19 misinformation, and many of the staff who were supposed to be managing content since Musk took over are no longer with the company. It’s up to the reader to decide whether it’s because he left , or (probably) both.
But no matter how you describe it, it’s never a good thing.
