As the Bad Boys theme song plays in the background, the question is “What do you do when they come for you?” Yesterday’s mob violence against our state capital is only a precursor to the increase in domestic terrorism and violence expected in the United States in the years to come.
This is no exaggeration. Terrorism feeds on lies, intrigues, disinformation and hate. And in the last 5 years all this has excited me to the nth degree
This has nothing to do with politics or which side you are on. This concerns your own and your family’s safety.
Mahatma Gandhi urged individuals to practice what he called “Satyagraha” or the power of truth. Satyagraha is said to be the weapon of the strong. We do not condone violence under any circumstances. And it always claims the truth.
failure of imagination
Listening to experts yesterday and today, the same question keeps coming up. Is this due to a lack of imagination?
No.
The reality is that anyone with a sense of situational awareness knew and expected this to happen. That violence will be the final result of this gathering. Choosing not to plan for it is, well, that’s another matter.
And the question for you is, when a mob decides to attack you, have you planned how to defend yourself against violence? Huh?
2021 will bring even more challenges to our personal safety. Make sure you know what to do to protect and keep you and your family safe.
