In case you missed it, Elliotts recently attended the 2016 Australasian Fire Authority Council Expo (AFAC). This is an annual expo that provides an opportunity for manufacturers of personal protective equipment in the emergency services industry to showcase/demonstrate their products.
This year, Elliot’s has added a new stand and a very special attraction to the stand: three pinball machines. It was a chance for young and old to put their pinball talents to work and get his hands on one of his three world-famous grunge bottles worth over $750. At the end of the expo, the highest scoring machine he had a score of over 50,000,000!
Elliotts also took this opportunity to showcase the latest addition to the Pro-Tech construction glove family, the Pro-Tech 8 Evolution glove. This is a NFPA 1971-2013 compliant and certified structural firefighting glove. Ideal for fire school, training, and frequent use, the glove features a cut level 8 knuckle guard system that not only provides excellent cut resistance and radiant heat protection, but also the The tight material and stitching provide maximum dexterity.
The stand was divided into 3 different areas. Wet weather, structure firefighting, wilderness firefighting. Also on display were the Pro-Tech gloves and the Mec-Flex rescue gloves.

This year’s Expo was a huge success for Elliotts. We had a lot of fun while educating participants about our products and new innovations. We are looking forward to next year’s AFAC Expo. There, pinball machines may need to reappear. We are looking forward to AFAC 2017.
